With the stormy weather continuing even completing a running event is an achievement in its self at the moment but Dereham Runners are a hardy lot and a bit of rain and wind isn’t going to put them off chasing a Pb or receiving a well earned medal.

At the Sublime Winter 10k held at ferry meadows,Peterborough Carole Preston 1.01.56 (pb) and Graham Hobbs 1.06.13 ran around the single loop course through water,mud and strong winds a great achievement by you both well done.

A large number of our members took the short trip to Lenwade to tackle the undulating course of the Ringland Half a strong cool wind didn’t really help but at least it was sunny for a change first home for Dereham Andrew Hood in a great time of 1.38.25 well done Hoddy.
Adrian Hollis 1.50.14,Alan Antony 1.59.32 and Carole Preston 2.25.10 posted new Pb’s a great achievement around this brute of a course.
Emma Potter-Campbell 1.43.17,Robert Harmer 1.43.40,Grant King 1.50.14,Louise Rowe 1.57.21,Caroline Fletcher 2.07.11,Jacquie Wood 2.32.03 and Terri Read 2.32.33 all achieved course Pb’s
Malcolm Fisher 1.55.33 and Philip Websdale 2.03.06 were the other finishers for team Drac great running by all in difficult conditions over the last couple of weeks.
