Raising £££ for The 2.6 Challenge

On 26/04/20 the London marathon would have taken place, but due to the current circumstances we find this event cancelled until next year.

As a club, Dereham Runners walked, biked or ran any distance or time involving the numbers 2 and 6. Our members rose to the challenge and raised a massive £925.05 towards our chosen charity, a massive amount from such a local club.

The Commitee has chosen the N&N Hospitals Charity, COVID-19 Emergency Appeal. Staff at Norfolk & Norwich University NHS Foundation Trust are facing the challenge of coronavirus (COVID-19) head on. The N&N Hospitals Charity is there for the amazing staff in our 3 hospitals: the N&N, Jenny Lind & Cromer.

The Dereham Runners Committee has generously decided to top up the total to a round figure of £1000.00 which will be sent over to the charity.

We thank everyone for their generous donations and it proves what a wonderful, extended family and Dereham Runners AC is.
